The story so far
In 2016, there were 15,350 patients on dialysis, but only 475 Filipino patients received kidney transplant. Furthermore, over 50% of patients die while waiting for a kidney transplant, and those who remain on dialysis remain underserved. With the alarming rise in the number of patients requiring hemodialysis, it is estimated that more than 600 new dialysis centers are needed to bridge this widening gap. In dutiful response, Lifebridge Dialysis Center was born in to meet this growing need.
